Sam's is my Ferndale tradition. The food was wonderful during my first visit in 2003 and remains my favorite breakfast place today. HUGE portions, fast & friendly service, and a beautiful interior. - Linn, 08/10/2008

Sams Ferndale Grill is one of the best restaurant out there. The food is wonderful. They give u a great portion of food. Staff there is great they are all very friendly and nice. Service is great. I am very happy that the restaurant is back open. One of the best place in town. - Gina, 12/18/2007

Excellent food and inexpensive. Very broad menu...something for everyone. The new building is really nice. Sam's seems to have a diversified cliente, young/old/gay/straight/urban/families, etc. - probably more a reflection of Ferndale's community. I am so excited that Sam's is opening up again I can't wait to have this landmark open up again after that fire that destroyed the building. This is truely a family restaurant I have watched the owners kids grow up into fine adults due to their good parents.
