Ok, I gave them a `credit card, and started a tab for some beers - having no idea what the prices were, but just assuming they were appropriate for a corner / neighborhood bar. I got
the bill and found out I was being charged $4 for a 16oz domestic beer which is something that should never cost more than $2.50 tops. It's not like you're at a Packer game. Its a corner bar.
