2005. This restaurant/bar is just what Mequon and surrounding areas needed: a unique dining experience with fast service and an entertaining bar staff. The Irish background comes alive with beers like Guiness, Harp, and Smithwick's on tap to name a few along with some English ones too. The bar is a tip of the hat to UW-Madison's Football, Hockey, Basketball and Marching band teams. Flat screen televisions as well as large screen LCD tv's cover every corner so you are sure not to miss your favorite team. Long time resident, looked forward to seeing what was happening at T & D;s after Mille's left. We truly enjoyed the ambience, the food, but the second visit was our last since Labor Day, 2007. Our first was lengthy; insufficient wait staff. Even the owner was pitching in. Not a problem. Our second visit was a Sunday evening, about 45 minutes before closing. We placed our orders, part of which for me was iced tea. Once the beverages and food arrived, we never saw our waitress again (until she delivered the bill)as she readied all the tables in our lower floor seating area; carefully avoiding any eye contact which we attempted to make. My husband wanted another ale, I wanted a refill of Tea. It was still well before closing time. I stopped a passing waiter from another section to ask about the tea, he apologized and said since it was fresh brewed everyday there was none left. Our waitress had never indicated the glass I had was the last; there was no adjustment of price or apology. We neither order more beer, left a tip, or came back. - Mary M., 05/03/2008
