Built in 1895, the theater seats 1400 plus an orchestra pit. The interior of the theater is lavishly decorated and includes a large chandelier which weighs about one ton. The theater is used for 200 performances a year. Free tours avail.: Sat.: 11:30a.m. or by appointment. - sys, 12/26/1999
I recently had tickets to The Christmas Carol. I have never been so disappointed in the management of the theater. My daughter and I had 50 dollar seats for a evening performance.
