This is a hidden gem in the otherwise dull St. Paul night scene. Literally hidden: you have to go downstairs to get to the AQ. If you pass by casually, you'll miss it. The variety of jazz is impeccable: from bop to Hammond organ to quartet to piano-- this place has it on almost any night of the week (except for Sundays, usually). Cover charges are pretty cheap: about $3 Mon-Thurs. and $10 Fri-Sat, depending upon what's happening. Drinks can be a bit more, but it's worth it. Go find it! - Mark B., 02/15/2003
