If it's the same place I am thinking of in Willernie, I used to go there from my rented room in Mahotmedi back in the late 70's when I was a textbook salesman for a NY-based publisher, I convered a 10 state territory, once night, weary of driving, I walked to the Flame and they featured dago burgers (I moved from Long Island and never heard of such a thing before) and, even more memorable than the unidentified fried object I was eating was the drunk topples dancer with back hair. After a few draft beers, Grain Belts probably, a fight broke out, the dancer rushed off from dancing atop the bar, and I walked out into the cold, biting air and walked back to my room on Hickory St. and thought how similar Willernie was to my Lawy Guyland home town. - Jim, Finger Lakes, NY, 08/08/2001
