I live in NYC and used to live in The Twin Cities. I remember when I made a trip to the Gay Nineties because I love house music. The music there was very nice, but very different from what I heard in NYC. I was just wondering if you guys are interested in making a connection for some of the music that's played here in NYC, or do you already have access? Just curious. - Max J, 03/18/2004
the last time I went in here I stopped by the "Happy Hour" bar which is the lounge on the left hand side of the bldg. I sat down and ordered a vodka sour. The bartender (older guy with glasses proceeded to yank out a big hankie and HONK! blew his nose then started fixing my drink WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!!!! YUK. I POLITELY asked him to please wash his hands and he had me 86'ed !!! I hadn't had one drink or said boo to anyone. I got kicked out plain and simple for asking this jerk to wash his snot covered hands. I will NEVER GO BACK EVER. - Never Again, 04/01/2008

Showed up at the Gay Nineties last Saturday with a bachelorette party. There were only about 7 of us and the bride-to-be had a small crown w/veil, a garter, and a corsage and the rest of us each had a lei - nothing wild. We were told they don't allow bachelorette parties at the Gay Nineties. If we would remove all the articles relating to weddings, we would be admitted. We refused and left. - Disgusted, 07/18/2006
