I grew up near the Nook in the 50's (when it was Wally's Nook). My dad took me there when I was young for the burgers. It was a great place to meet friends and the burgers were the best. The tradition lives on with my two sons. We all still stop in for burgers and a beer and it still cannot be beat!! - Commander, 07/24/2006
My friends and I love The Nook. The guys and girls working there are nice and extremely personable. The burgers are great, and the chicken tenderloin is to die for! The Nook hand cuts their fries, and they are great. The atmosphere is like no other. The best part is that The Nook is right across the street from my school, Cretin-Derham Hall, great food, great people, great location. i live just a few blocks away from this small tiny bar and just love the atmospere. the service is great and the kids working there have some of the best personalities around town. great burgers and fries and the house brew is the best. - anonymous, 01/20/2002
