Detail for Mortimer's : Bar
Mortimer's is your typical neighborhood bar. On any given day of the week you will see the same faces. It's Uptown's version of Cheer's. On Thursday through Sunday they have three separate bars going all with their own theme. There is Gringo's in the back, which is a heavy metal bar. Gringo's has an air hockey machine and a foseball table. Gringo's nightly special is a $1 shot of raspberry komicossi. The bar up top is known as the Oliver's, which is styled after an English pub complete with a horsehair dartboard. The main bar has three pinball machines, three golf machines, six dartboards, a few miscellaneous bar games which change every few months. They also feature pull-tabs from 6- 10 PM. Happy hour is 4-6 PM and features two for one anything you call. - sys, 03/01/2001
