My motorcycle riding club had held our annual end of year party at Al Bakers, and I cannot say enough good things about the people that work at this place! I had dinner at Al Baker's last week and was waited on by Briana. She was an exceptional server who dazzled me with her bright personality. I will definately return to this restaurant because of the extra special attention Briana gave to me. Thank you Briana, you are the greatest!!! Very beautiful!!! - Marcus P, 10/21/2005
I've eaten at Al Baker's a couple of times, but I just tried to book a private room for a small 30+ year class reunion. When I called about two weeks ago, I was told it was mine and I would just have to give them a deposit. I called again on August 18th, and was told the room was still reserved for me and that I should get my deposit in ASAP. I asked if August 19th or 20th would be okay and was told that was fine. A friend of mine called and gave the restaurant her credit card, thus paying the deposit on August 18th. I was just called by the manager (August 19th) and told that we could not have the room because our party was too small and that she had booked it for a larger party. While I understand the financial end of this, I don't understand why I was told differently by two other people, and now I have no private room for my group, most of which are flying in from other parts of the country. I guess what I'm saying is that I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. - Stephanie E, 08/19/2005
