The service is fast, good food, good portions. The service could be better. They're never around when you need them or they walk right past you quicker than you can turn your head and raise your hand. The people at the register are probably the coldest thing in the place. Yes, get there early. However, they need a better enterance because when you leave, there's normally a long line, and the only way to leave is if you squeeze past people in the line. Food is ok and service is even worse than the food. I had lunch there today and after the waitress delivered out food we didn't see her again until she dropped of the bill. The disappearing act of our waitress seems to be a reoccuring theme with them because this isn't the first it has happened. This is a good place to eat. My weakness is the pies. They are made fresh daily from scratch --hard to resist. The soups are also homemade and very good. I travel around the country a lot and have not found another place with pies this good. The service is also fast and freindly. - Tim H, 02/18/2008
