Kolap (meaning Rose in Cambodian) is a hidden good eats for Cambodian Food. Being Cambodian myself, I was shocked to find another Cambodian restaurant. I took my friends there several times during lunch and twice for dinner. When walking in the sound of Cambodian karoke attract you towards their video projection on the wall. The hostess promptly seats us every time. When looking around you see Cambodian families dining. At times, you may see the chef and his crew dining during their breaks. The menus have photos of all the dishes. The food preparation time varies depending on the dishes, but during your wait, you can be entertained with the cultural portrays of the various Cambodian karoke songs, clips, beauty pagents, and skits projected on the wall. Each dish ordered have been close to how Cambodian moms make it at home. The tilpia in ginger sauce is excellent! The tomato soup and curry soup are seasoned nicely. Everything has been great during all of my visits with friends. I will definitely go back and bring more friends.
