We were disappointed with our visit to Kozlak's.I told the reservations person that it was our 43 anniversary and was very surprised that no one acknowledged this when we arrived. My wife had torranedoes (sp?) of beef, two pieces. One was very good but one was 'chewey.' I had liver and onions, a house specialty. Tender but exceptionally 'veiny.' The meals were definitely overpriced and the drinks were small.The waitress was ok but not friendly. The whole evening was overpriced and overrated. - Lee Hiltner, 09/12/2002
Yesterday was our 55th wedding anniversary. We decided to have lunch at Kozlak's. We were give a table in the northeast corner of the dining room. We would rather have been seated in the patio, but we were not offered that opportunity. My view at the table was of a mildewed wall, a rusted faucet, a stand full of dirty dishes and uneaten foo, three very dirty ceiling ventilators, and some cobwebs. My wife ordered an old-fashioned ant it was poorly made. The waitress brought a second which was the same. Eventually the waitress mazde one herself and brought it to my wife during the meal. Have you ever enjoyed an old-fashioned with your food? The food was very acceptable, but we had to ask for seonds on bread, butter, and no seconds on my lemonade. Not a good dining experience. Please do not blame Clara, our waitress. She was doing an exceptional job considering how overworked she was. I know it's hard to get help these days, but when you pay almost $40.00 for a lunch, you expect something more than we received. Thanks. Bill McCollum Woodbury - bill mc collum, 08/25/2001
