Love to dine out and liked your restaurant. Here is the 'but' coming. The smoked trout salad had no recognizable trout in it. I am not asking for a quarter pound of fish, just nicely flaked chunks to occasionally get on a fork full of wonderfully dressed salad. The three little shrimp in the shrimp appetizer were baby shrimp, likely 30-40 count. Serving larger shrimp would help your image and not go against your bottom line. Flavor and presentation were wonderful. Scallop dinner was very good. The garbanzo bean salad was a little too punched up with raw garlic...could ruin any hoped for close encounters for later in the evening. Steaks were first rate. Flavorful, juicy and tender and done to perfection. You buy good quality and it's appreciated. The red velvet cake was just red cake. Isn't there supposed to be a flavor in it, like vanilla, ambrosia, almond, butter, anything? It was red cake. Service was excellent. Drinks were very good. Wine selection and price were wonderful.
