This is a sports bar/restaurant. Steve is a wonderful host and makes everyone feel welcome. So does Pablo when he's manning the bar. The regulars often bring their kids here, but it is definitely a bar, so it's up to you. The Sugar Shack flat out has the best wings I've come across since moving to AZ. I should know, I'm from Buffalo! The regular wings are killer, with honest sauce, about medium on most people's scale of kick. They also have baked wings that are simply to die for. They are worth the wait! They have a dry rub of spices with a kick, a tinge of cajun around the edges. Crisp and oh so good. I have to admit, I love the onion rings as well. Here's the real kicker, Steve has a killer happy hour from 3-6pm with 1/2 price appetizers if you eat in, and $2 domestic beer and well drinks (well might be $3). That means you can order a dozen wings ($3) and a Michelob Ultra ($2), and have a killer dinner and refreshing beverage for just $5 plus tax and tip! - moonchase, 11/07/2006
