Johnnys uptown is located in Phoenix, AZ. I had originally heard about this Jazz Bar from my Grandfather, who said, Johnnys Uptown is the Jazz bar of Phoenix. Johnnys Uptown has live bands, Tuesday thru Sunday. It can be considered a formal but yet informal atmosphere. The band plays Fri, Sat and Sunday in the restaurant and Tues-Wed in the lounge. There is no cover charge; however they seem to make up that cost with the food items. $9.00 for ½ a cheese crisp is pretty costly to say the least. 1-10 I'd have to say Johnny's is a 7.
