Mountain Springs is not the place it used to be. The new owner has ignored the locals, has screwed the bands that played there, raised the drink prices to cover for lost clientele and fired all the old friendly faces that made it a success for years. I recommend that you stay away until this idiot figures out that it's not just the location that made this bar great. - Robert, 03/02/2008
As a 28 year resident of Mt. Springs Saloon, I can tell you just about anything you want to know. Elevation: 5,500 ft Population: 120 Location: 30th and Plum (30 miles out of Vegas and Plum on top) 20 degrees cooler than Vegas. Horseshoe pits, BBQ, Pool, Dollar bills and old beer can collection throughout the saloon rafters. Live music on the weekends. Dancing and the greatest drinking bar in Nevada. - bob snyder, 11/02/2004
