Located in the MGM Grand, famous chef Emeril Lagasse combines modern Cajun and Creole cooking at his signature Vegas restaurant. A recent renovation features a more sophisticated decor and expanded dining area. Menu items (entrees $25-$59) include Texas redfish and gumbo chock-full of seafood, chicken, or sausage. We went to dinner at Emeril's after seeing the show 'KA' at the MGM theater. We had made reservations well in advance and were 'guaranteed' a booth. We arrived right on time and were made to wait for nearly 45 minutes to get our table and then another hour for our food. The waiters were incredibly rude and not at all helpful when we asked for food recommendations. We were even given someone else's credit card and bill after we finished our meal -- it was terrible. The facilities was good looking(my review of the place),



but serve was so slow-slow. We came there on our honeymoney dinner and was recommend by this lady at MGM EFX Theater. The places was too loud and I did not know we have to wait for our food for 1 hour. I think we should have gone somewhere else? Next time we go to Las Vegas, will try not to go to this place at all. - Roy, 10/03/2002
