The Buffet. A decor of arches and awnings creates an outdoor market feel, and paves the way for a singular buffet experience that features cuisine from around the world. Offerings include favorites from the Americas, Italy, China, and Japan, as well as various seafood preparations. Parking is very rough during peak hours. Expect to wait 30 minutes or more when driving to the garage entrance on Las Vegas Blvd. Entrance is located just south of Flamingo on the Strip. Attendants are on hand to search vehicles. Recommended: park at Bally's or Paris and walk across the street.
Fountain Show
Over 1,000 fountains frolic in front of the hotel, with streams choreographed to lights and music. Water
can sail as high as nearly 250 feet into the air. This breathtaking show changes regularly. Free shows are every half hour Mon-Fri 3 pm-7 pm, Sat-Sun 12 pm-7 pm; every 15 minutes 7 pm-12 am.
Gallery of Fine Art
Special exhibits include fine art collections on loan. Open daily 9 am-7 pm; ticket prices start at $15 for non-residents.
ExpansionBeginning in December 2004, over 900 new rooms and suits will be added. Enhancements will be made to the spa and salon, and 60,000 feet of additional meeting and convention space will be created. Also included in this expansion is the new restaurant, Sensi. Expansion of south tower is complete.
I highly recommend the Picaso restaurant within the hotel. The dress is 'to impress' and the food is elegent. You dine amoung acutal Picaso masterpieces...with no guards and glass to obstruct your view. It was a relaxing and cultural experience. - Suzette, 10/18/2001
