    Shabu Shabu



Shabu Shabu, in American Terms, is part fondue, part slow cooker.

You are served a pot of broth on a hot flame. Then, you add collagen to thicken the sauce, adding vegetables next. Then, thin slices of pork are added, and you let it cook. Delicious!


We sampled the shabu shabu depicted below at the Hyatt Park Hotel in western Shinjuku.
